Norsk for alle offers a variety of language and culture courses for all students looking to establish or deepen their connection to Norway or advance their language skills. We offer a variety of courses and individual tutoring sessions aimed at learners of all ages and skill levels.
Our journey began with a passion for sharing Norwegian language and culture with students who are eager to learn. We have built a community of motivated individuals striving for personal and professional growth through accessible and engaging learning experiences.

In that spirit, Norsk for Alle is committed to working with learners of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, immigration status, age, or language level. Norsk For Alle aims to cultivate connections across different cultures and backgrounds to foster meaningful learning experiences for everyone. Norsk for Alle is also dedicated to working with neurodivergent learners and those with learning disabilities. Sarah, known to her students as Alida, holds a bachelors in Norwegian and Nordic Studies from St. Olaf College and has been teaching Norwegian to students of all ages for 10 years. The road to fluency led her to study in Norway on four separate occcasions. She lived with a family in a rural farm town in southern Norway, spent a year mountaineering above the Arctic Circle in the Lofoten islands, and frequented the busy subways (the “T-bane”) as a student in Oslo. She loves meeting new students and exploring their Norwegian curiosity and intentions together. Looking forward to seeing you online!

Helen White

Curriculum Developer
Helen is a Norwegian teacher who received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Norwegian and Linguistics in 2023 from St. Olaf College. She has been teaching Norwegian for 8 years and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience with a wide variety of ages from preschool age to adults, helping them foster a passion for the Norwegian language and culture. She lived in the city of Stavanger, Norway, from ages 11-15, and shares her lived experience in Norway with her students. She is also trilingual, and speaks Spanish as well! Helen is strongly devoted to Norwegian and looks forward to helping all her students grow in sharing her passion!
